European Neuroses
I have come to the conclusion, after reading many things that
Ennui is the new Angst.
Everywhere now people talk of Ennui. Ohh, my ennui. I'm wallowing in ennui. Etc.
So, as a trendspotter, I hereby declare 2004-2009 to be the half-decade of Ennui.
Go forth and be listless!
Knocked Out by the Election
After the election, I was in such a state of shock that I went to Kansas City and Omaha.
That's where I am now.
Maybe if they go away, I'll go home....
